The Hikvision K-Series superseeds the E-Series NVR range, offering improved up to 4K (8MP) resolution recording capability. The NVR has 4 SATA ports allowing for up to 4 hard drives at up to 6TB and supports maximum 256Mbps incoming bandwidth and half 16-Port PoE support to natively power connected cameras. Further, the K-Series NVR range incorporates native H.265 encoding with compatible H265 cameras which means 40-50% lower lower bit rates, resulting in overall less data used for the same length recording encoded under H264.
