D-Link 1000BASE-LX Single-mode Fiber SFP Transceiver- DEM-310GT

The hot pluggable DEM-310GT is a high performance 1310nm multimode/singlemode SFP transceiver that supports full duplex. The DEM-310GT is a high performance 1310nm single mode SFP (mini-GBIC) transceiver. Supporting full duplex, DEM-310GT Gigabit speeds on single mode fiber for distances of up to 10km on 9µm respectively. The DEM-310GT unit features a metal housing to reduce EMI and to increase durability. 

The DEM-310GT Gigabit SFP Transceivers plug into Gigabit and Fast Ethernet switches via their GBIC slots. They allow for the expansion of Gigabit Ethernet networks by providing high-speed connections over a fiber-optic or twisted-pair cable. The DEM-310GT fiber-optic transceivers have standard duplex LC connectors to provide maximum compatibility. The DEM-310GT are hot-pluggable and Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) compliant with the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) specification.

D-Link DEM-310GT Gigabit Interface Converters are transceivers that connect Gigabit switches and 10/100Mbps switches with GBIC slots to Gigabit Ethernet networks, providing high-speed connections over the fiber-optic or twisted-pair cable. The DEM-310GT Gigabit SFP fiber transceiver is external transceiver designed for insertion in SFP (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) slot of network device for transmission and reception of data signals on the fiber cables. This DEM-310GT transceiver provides the Gigabit operation and physical compactness to deliver the speed, reliable long-distance (up to 10 km) data transfer, and deployment flexibility that today’s fiber networks require.

The DEM-310GT transceiver uses standard duplex LC connector for fiber cable connection. The DEM-310GT conforms to industry standards and is interoperable with D-Link Gigabit switches. Hot-swap capability allows network administrators to plug or unplug it from the SFP slot without having to turn off the power of the connected DEM-310GT device.

D-Link DEM-310GT compatible SFP transceiver supports up to 10km link lengths over LC duplex SMF fiber. Each SFP transceiver module is individually tested to be used on a series of D-Link switches, routers, servers, network interface card (NICs) etc.
